Hello! It’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Tina Creighton. I was born and raised in the area as the youngest of five children, where a strong connection to family and community was instilled in me at an early age. These values helped guide me toward a career in mental health.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Following graduation, I obtained my independent licensure in Ohio and later in West Virginia.

With nearly two decades of experience, I have provided services across a variety of settings, including traditional and alternative schools, correctional facilities, emergency departments, community mental health centers, and private practice. I have experience in crisis response and in treating a wide range of concerns, including autism, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and trauma across the lifespan.

My greatest sense of purpose comes from helping individuals reach their goals. I believe each person is the expert on their own life—they do the hard work, and I am honored to guide and support them along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, especially spending time in the woods and fishing, as well as being with my family. My husband and I are parents to three wonderful children, two of whom have special needs.

I am honored to serve my community by offering individual, family, and group therapy services for individuals ages 5 and up.

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my approach to therapy.

I was born in Ashland, KY, and raised in the small rural community of Rush in Boyd County. In 2023, I moved to West Virginia with my husband, Steve. We share our home with five dogs and two cats, and I’ve always had a deep love for animals. Outside of work, I enjoy board games, music, concerts, and spending time outdoors.

I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2019, after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies at Morehead State University in 2012. I often joke with my family that I found a way to get paid to talk about life and philosophy—and in many ways, that’s what I do now. I help people explore their lives, clarify their goals, and take steps toward achieving them.

In therapy, I use an eclectic approach because no two people are alike. Each client’s story is unique, so treatment should be tailored to their individual needs. My goal is always to provide respect, care, and a non-judgmental space where clients feel safe and supported.

I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, religious trauma, self-esteem issues, and challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ and Veterans/Military communities, among others.

I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times. Let me walk alongside you—helping you build coping skills for the difficult moments and making room to fully enjoy the positive ones.

Hello! I am Emily Jones, a Supervised Psychologist under the supervision of Sane Space’s owner, Chrissy Jackson. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from West Liberty University in 2025, but I have been working in the counseling/social work field for many years prior to completing my education. I have always held a passion for helping others and being a safe space for those who find themselves struggling. Whether they are struggling with mental illness, the stresses of life, or the weight of past traumas, it is always a privilege to be the one to help share the weight and find new solutions for people. I have experience working with a wide range of demographics and a wide range of mental health struggles, include Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood and Emotional Dysregulation Disorders, ADHD, and trauma. My therapeutic style is very relaxed – I believe in appreciating the good and bad aspects of being human, and I value not taking oneself too seriously. I value meeting a client where they are at and being very adaptable to the variety of life experiences coming into my office, as I believe that is the best way to form a collaborative and strong therapeutic relationship. I have training and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral Therapy, but I am always expanding my knowledge base! I will be providing my services through telehealth and I will have availability for weekend sessions.

I have a particular passion for working with teenagers, but I am always open to new experiences and new individuals!
